Whose photo holds this year’s record for most likes? To those on the outside, CMWorld might look like just another conference. A few of my favorite moments so far from #CMWorld. New Content brought a team to Cleveland for the Content Marketing Awards ceremony. Another great Content Marketing World session. The award recognizes an exceptional leader in content marketing, and Ann is just that. This was today at our industry’s biggest event of the year, @cmicontent’s Content Marketing World. Ann Handley raked up some serious likes and comments on her Instagram account during CMWorld. Ann wasn’t the only one to share a picture with Tina. No one expects you to see every single photo shared during Content Marketing World. That’s close to impossible given the fact over 1,000 images used the #CMWorld hashtag on Instagram alone.

That’s a lot of pictures.

Take a look at Instagram’s biggest moments. Kylie Jenner currently holds the title for having the most liked post of all-time. By the way, if you commented on her picture – or any other post – with the emoji, you’re not alone. The heart was used over 14 billion times on Instagram in 2018.

Kylie is not the only one with scroll-stopping appeal. We have our own celebrities at Content Marketing World. Whose photo holds this year’s record for most likes? Who has earned the distinction of being the most popular?

10. You like to party.

After a week of learnings, you might think attendees needed a quiet night in. But on the final day, marketers packed Pickwick & Frolic. The conference ended with a night of networking, food, and drinks hosted by the Orange Effect Foundation. Can you say, “champagne bar”?

9. CMWorld is like a family reunion.

To those on the outside, CMWorld might look like just another conference. But for the thousands of people who attend, it means much more. The event is an opportunity to meet new friends and catch up with old ones. It’s also our change to celebrate the legacy of our Godfather of Content Marketing, Joe Pulizzi.

A few of my favorite moments so far from #CMWorld. Hanging with The Godfather of Content Marketing Joe Pulizzi, getting to spend time with @expwriters Content Director Hannah, meeting up again with our clients at Magnificent Marketing, and meeting @coschedule team in person (finally)! Plus, getting interviewed by the team at relevance.com for an interview story about me and my new upcoming writing course! . Not to mention all the wonderful sessions, convos, hugging my amazing content friends in person, speakers and takeaways! . 8. Game on.

When we announced this year’s conference theme, we were thrilled with the response. Creative Director Joseph Kalinowski brought his A-game and went all out with the idea. He designed promotional images, posters, and speaker gifts. But the pièce de résistance was definitely the main stage.

7. You like puppies.

We received a special treat Wednesday during CMWorld’s first-ever Yappy Hour. City Dogs Cleveland introduced us to Bukowski, Corn Pops, Dixon, and Penny. For a small charitable donation, attendees got to enjoy puppy kisses. The dogs had fun too; they relished in an afternoon filled with belly rubs.

6. You’ll travel the world for us.

Did you know that 3,700 marketers from over 50 countries joined us in Cleveland? There are many lessons learned when you travel. You leave your comfort zone. You become open to new ideas. And you gain a greater perspective. Taking a trip to CMWorld is no different.
