Berliners have been overwhelmed by messages of solidarity on social media after a driver rammed a truck into a crowded Christmas market in the heart of the German capital killing at least 12 people and injuring nearly 50. The truck hit the popular Christmas market filled with tourists and locals outside the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church near Berlin's Zoo station late on Monday. Police believes the truck "was intentionally driven into the crowd". Using the hashtags #PrayforBerlin and #IchBinEinBerliner — meaning "I am a Berliner" and also a reference to the famous speech made by John F.
