Content marketing software company BrightEdge moves into larger Cleveland office

Content marketing software company BrightEdge moves into larger Cleveland office. A Silicon Valley-based software company that opened a Cleveland office in 2015 has moved into larger digs downtown. BrightEdge, which produces content marketing software, on Wednesday, Jan. 11, officially opened a 10,000-square-foot space within Tower City that has 21 employees — twice the number it had in 2015, when it opened a small office in the Fifth Third Building. The company says it plans to hire 45 people this year, ranging from entry-level to managerial-level employees. BrightEdge is looking to hire outbound sales representatives, account executives and sales managers. The move to the Tower City site "represents Bright Edge's continued investment in Cleveland and belief that the city's tech scene will continue to flourish," the company said in a news release. "After an extensive analysis of nearly a dozen cities, BrightEdge made the decision to open our next facility in Cleveland due to the talented people we saw in the market, the existing leadership in the marketing space, strength of the amazing area universities, and seeing the robust nature and energy of Cleveland" said Jim Emerich, chief financial officer of BrightEdge, in a statement. He said the new office "embeds BrightEdge in Cleveland as the city becomes a hub for the content marketing industry." BrightEdge sells software that companies use to plan, optimize, and measure the performance of their content marketing campaigns. Cleveland is home to the Content Marketing Institute and that organization's signature event, Content Marketing World, which attracted more than 3,500 people to town in September.
