Joe Manganiello, who will play Deathstroke, in the Warner Bros. Pictures proposed “The Batman” film is standing by his film. The departure of Ben Affleck as director (though he remains as Bruce Wayne), rumored to be due to differences and script issues, raised questions over the production of the solo Batman film. However, Manganiello defended the process, noting that the media is getting ahead of itself with its reporting.

Recently, Director Matt Reeves officially came on board. Now, Manganiello told Robert Irvine Magazine that the movie will shoot soon but they are not locking a date for good reason:

“They have big plans for this movie. Whether or not we start exactly on that date or in June, whatever it is, it doesn’t matter. Here’s the thing: The creative process needs to be respected and no one involved in this film wants to make anything less than an unbelievable film, a legendary film.
