PR agency Mutant Communications names new managing editor with content marketing focus

PR and content marketing agency Mutant Communications has named a new managing editor and account director. The announcement: Mutant Communications, a fast-growing public relations and content marketing agency, has announced two new senior hires. The agency has appointed Byravee Iyer as Managing Editor, focusing on content marketing, and Lina Marican as Account Director, overseeing the Technology and Lifestyle teams. The appointments are part of Mutant Communications’ aggressive growth into content and integrated communications, further cementing its expertise across the consumer, corporate and human resources, and technology sectors. Iyer is a former business journalist with almost 10 years of experience. She was most recently the Media Editor of Campaign Asia-Pacific, writing about the advertising and marketing industry. Marican will lead Mutant’s technology and lifestyle teams in developing effective communications strategies and campaigns for various regional and Singapore-based clients, on top of contributing to new business growth. Marican brings over 10 years of technology and digital lifestyle experience to the agency. Most recently, she headed the consumer practice at MSLGROUP, and has held both in-house roles and agency positions across brands such as Lazada Group, Microsoft, Edelman and Social@Ogilvy.
