Petition to bar Trump from meeting the Queen passes 1 million landmark

Petition to bar Trump from meeting the Queen passes 1 million landmark. A petition calling for the UK government to block Donald Trump from making a state visit to the country has gathered more than 1 million signatures in less than 48 hours. "Donald Trump's well documented misogyny and vulgarity disqualifies him from being received by Her Majesty the Queen or the Prince of Wales," the petition reads, adding that it would be an "embarrassment" for him to meet Queen Elizabeth. The petition then goes on to say: "During the term of his presidency Donald Trump should not be invited to the United Kingdom for an official State Visit." Trump was invited to come for a state visit after he met Prime Minister Theresa May in Washington D.C. on Friday. But his Muslim travel ban has caused outrage on the other side of the Atlantic and around the world. At the time of writing this, it stood at 1,315,815 signatures. At one point there were reportedly about 400 people signing each minute: It appears to be around 400 people a minute, now, signing the Don't Let Trump Meet The Queen petition. Kellyanne Conway made up a massacre so folks on Twitter lampooned her
Michael Flynn’s parody Twitter account is so spot on people think it is real
