V30: 5.7M / ER30: 0.9x Key Trend/Video: The LADbible is almost always at the top of the cross-platform leaderboards, but how does the brand get there? Half of the publisher’s top ten videos from last month included animals, and four out of these five alone featured dogs. V30: 3.4 million / ER30: 1.4x Key Trend/Video: Any brand which focuses on animals is, of course, going to be a hit with audiences on Facebook, as the platform’s users will likely never tire of watching, sharing, and engaging with content which features cute, compelling creatures. V30: 1.7 million / ER30: 0.9x Key Trend/Video: As noted in the top Facebook publishers leaderboard, YouTube creator Jake Boys skyrocketed up the ranks in June to land on that leaderboard as well as the cross-platform one. The creator’s method of re-posting viral content and leaving some of his own short thoughts on the content has generated him billions of views in just weeks, likely because his audience connects more deeply with him as he reveals more of his personality based on which clips he chooses to re-post, such as this one from the movie 40-Year-Old Virgin which has 23 million views: Tasty: 1.2B Video Views Primary Source of Views: Facebook at 1B.

Doing so will help similar brands understand what audiences may be interested in watching, and why particular videos performed so well.

As well as views, we are including Tubular Video Ratings, a unique group of online video metrics that set the standard for measurement of views and engagements across videos and publishers. Without further ado, let’s dive into June’s top online video creators in order of ranking, starting with the publisher with the most views across all of social.

LADbible: 2.9B Video Views

Primary Source of Views: Facebook at almost 2.8B. V30: 5.7M / ER30: 0.9x

Key Trend/Video: The LADbible is almost always at the top of the cross-platform leaderboards, but how does the brand get there? For starters, nearly 101 million of all of LADbible’s June views came from one Facebook video in particular, which features a bride and groom playing the “Mr. & Mrs.” newlywed quiz. The clip not only reveals how little the couple seems to agree on their answers, but also how much audiences seemed to enjoy engaging with such hilarious content, as the video generated more than 1.1 million shares, 1.1 million likes, and 289,000 comments.

UNILAD: 2.7B Video Views

Primary Source of Views: Facebook at 2.7B. V30: 4.7 million / ER30: 1.1x

Key Trend/Video: While UNILAD’s most-watched video in June was a road rage incident captured on camera, animal content was where the brand really shone. Half of the publisher’s top ten videos from last month included animals, and four out of these five alone featured dogs. Viral Thread: 2.6B Video Views

Key Trend/Video: A few different elements were at play in Viral Thread’s June content. In general, audiences seemed to enjoy content which comically described everyday occurrences (such as how slow parents text), but the rest of the brand’s top ten most-watched clips were more informational and curiosity-invoking in nature. For example, the video with the most views at an impressive 95.3 million introduces viewers to a new kind of adhesive tape which removes the need for stitches in closing wounds.

5-Minute Crafts: 2.3B Video Views
