According to Aspiring Minds Internship Survey 2016, compiled by Letsintern.com, New Delhi was the top choice for internships as it saw maximum applications (40 per cent), followed by Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad. Profile wise, web developer internships are one of the most popular among students as the demand for web developers is only getting higher. The highest demand has been witnessed in New Delhi. Moreover, with content platforms like Scoopwhoop and BuzzFeed gaining so much traction and visibility, internships with content marketing platforms have seen a significant rise, the survey said, adding that content development internships were the most popular in Gurgaon. "This year, job roles with focus on revenue growth such as marketing, sales & content marketing have found favour with both students and recruiters as companies look to expand their revenue channels in an increasingly volatile market," Aspiring Minds Co-Founder and CEO Himanshu Aggarwal said. With the onset of digital communication, graphic design has been one of the most sought after choices for young professionals. New Delhi has seen the maximum demand for internships in this particular spectrum.
