AP Dubai bureau chief Aya Batrawy and video journalist Faye Abuelgasim have put together a close-up look at the operations of Vogue Arabia, the Condé Nast publication’s 22nd international edition. Launched digitally last fall, the magazine has just put out its first print issue, with Gigi Hadid on the cover.
Condé Nast is partnered with local publisher Nervora, whose other projects include Pop Sugar Middle East and ShopStyle Middle East. Nervora also created The Fashion Prize in partnership with the Dubai Design and Fashion Council. That annual endowment is being relaunched with Vogue Arabia as the DDFC/Vogue Fashion Prize.
