And it seems many fans think the folks running NBA team social media accounts somehow have a say in what trades are consummated. That is most definitely not the case, but the Atlanta Hawks had a brilliant response to those who think it is. Here are just some of the things people tweeted at the Hawks over the past couple weeks, all related to the trade deadline, which gives teams one last shot to make a big move before the season's final stretch. @ATLHawks please Trade #24 to somebody that will take him. So the Hawks had a response for those geniuses ahead of Thursday's deadline. Well-played, Atlanta. Though they're currently fifth in the Eastern Conference, they've seen early playoff exits in the past nine seasons.
